I thought this may be an interesting Betfair trading video for you. Here I’m describing what I am seeing in the market and how it’s influencing my trading decisions.
There weren’t huge amounts of activity in this market to make a really firm trade but we got the general direction right.
You would tend to rank trades from 1-10. Ten being I really know what’s going on here and it’s a great trade. Which you would use decent stakes with and be very firm. This is nearer the other end of the scale.
We can read it but the move isn’t strong and the direction isn’t firm so we would drop stakes and be a little more cautious.

reading a racing market?…thanks for taking the time to post this video however…. theres nothing in this video that actually tells us how to…you say "i would expect this favourite to come in a bit…"… why? is it due to weight of money suddenly on the favourite? other horses are drifting?
you can earn a tenner a lot easier playing online live roulette than you can elsewhere contrary to popular belief ie its a mugs game etc,.and of course you can play roulette 24/7 . whereas the horses etc shut down much earlier so i am baffled why punters mess about with horses and football other than small stake yankees etc for a bit of fun.
