Why I Don’t Like Insurance Trades When Betfair Trading?

Insurance when Betfair Trading isn’t what I like, I will chat about it in this video!

What is insurance?

When you use another market to reduce the potential loss when betfair trading

Why don’t I like it?

More money into the markets
More to monitor
Yes it reduces the potential loss but for me it leaves more to go wrong

You know my view keep your trading simple on Betfair, if you need insurance work on your strategy.

  1. If you trade more than one score in the correct score market you are now using insurance but you dont realise you are doing it.
its better to pick one score and reduce liability if you need too.
Good vid for a change well done.

  2. Hi Ryan, I'm having an issue getting onto your website, keeps coming up with an error message saying the site can't provide a secure connection. Could you paste a URL in cse I have the address wrong please?

  3. I do run two markets when the trade goes against me to reduce losses or even make more than the original trade. Usually it’s okay, however when it goes wrong, boy does it go wrong:).

  4. Exactly , do the work before hand , and trade . one at a time.

For example you know there will be goals scored but most of the goals are scored late first half and second half .
Trade under 2.5 make a profit and use a part of that profit with the over market.. depending on how the match develops. you can make even more money or you lose a little of your initial proffit.

Just like starting out with a small bank build it up and use the money you earned to make more money.

  5. Generally agree but penalties hurt me too often. My choices defy the stats, 6/7 games last week had a penalty against my trade. It's a binary low cost option that helps my mental stability.
